The download changes related to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-downloads-preferences-using-downloads-menu were aimed to hit release with 97 although we revised plans to instead ship with 98 given a security issue that came-up. The feature will be preffed off on 97 and the content/appearance of this KB article should be adjusted accordingly.

Besides the https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-downloads-preferences-using-downloads-menu article, two other KB articles recently updated for fx97 will also need revision:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file

I submitted a revision to the https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-downloads-preferences-using-downloads-menu article to update the search summary and to change Firefox 97 to Firefox 98. Fabi, do you want to review my pending revision?

I also updated the other two articles to remove the fx97 content. I can't add content to those articles for fx98 until "Version 98" is added to the "Customize this article" version picker. When that happens, we can resubmit my deferred revisions in those articles.

I just noticed that https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-downloads-preferences-using-downloads-menu was moved to the "Administration" category. This may be preventing localization of the recent changes made in my Feb 2, 2022 update, since Administration articles don't show up in the localization dashboard (bug 1395242). Firefox 98 Beta was released on February 8, 2022 so I moved this article back to the "How to" category.
