RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 92789

Details

Using Mozilla 1.1, when I download new messages, the "Unread" and "Total" message counts are not automatically updated to reflect the new messages, and the names of folders that currently don't contain any unread messages (and therefore are not listed in a bold typeface) are not automatically changed to bold to reflect that there are new messages in that folder. When I select a folder to view the messages in that folder, then the counts and bolding are correctly updated. Background information: I had just installed Mozilla 1.1 in hopes of migrating away from Netscape 4.79 as my mail app and noticed this behavioral difference. This was a big enough nuisance to me that I have switched back to using the old Netscape, so I can no longer perform testing. I also really, really like the old Netscape's "Message Center" feature, but I guess I'll have to learn to live without that if I migrate, since no other mail program has that feature.
