Steps to reproduce:

  1. view email with pdf attachment
  2. open the pdf attachment (uses Thunderbird built-in viewer)
  3. print pdf

Actual results:

The printed document is blank, but the print preview showed the document correctly.

Expected results:

My printer shouldn't have spit out a blank page. I was able to save the attachment, open it in adobe, and print it without issue. I tried reprinting the document 3 times, using both the built in print preview, and system printer preview.

Hi Carlin, thanks for reporting this.
Worksforme (wfm) on 91.5.1 (64-bit), and also on 91.6.0 (64-bit), Win10.

  • Does this happen after ≡ > Help > Troubleshoot Mode…? (If not, it's an addon problem)
  • Does this happen for all PDF attachments, or just some?
  • Can you attach a failing PDF here (ensure no private info) - Attach New File button above comment 0 ?

Kindly use >> bug 1188752 << syntax to enable autolinkification and bug link tooltips (no need to add links manually, thanks!)
