The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Can you run https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ to narrow down what change caused this to happen?

Do you have WebRoot SecureAnywhere installed?
Yes (not by me, can't uninstall, it is my work computer)
The result is same when I disable the WEBROOT add-on (on v97)

I'm afraid there's a bug in that software that breaks Firefox. The developers of WebRoot SecureAnywhere are trying to fix it.

We are using Webroot AV, I have reverted Firefox to version 96 and everything works correctly with no issues at all. I have experienced the issue only on version 97.
