Steps to reproduce:

For a new task, I continually make the mistake of trying to select a date without first checking the Start or Due Date box.

Actual results:

The selected date was discarded.

Expected results:

It would be less work and more friendly to automatically check the associated box if a date or time is selected from the drop down.
