We had a case where shipping an additional "locale" for one of the application provided search engines, caused the incorrect settings when the user's locale matched that specific locale.

Although bug 1758729 has changed the code to load the correct locale in the "default" situation, I'd still like to ensure that we have the search config tests correctly setting the locale so that any problems in future might be caught.

One thing we should check for here is that this doesn't regress the duration of the tests significantly.

This issue is going to go away as we switch to the new search configuration (bug 1833829), hence wontfixing it.
