User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0

Steps to reproduce:

Changing machines, copied profile to new machine. Started Thunderbird, All accounts refused. (Win 11) TB 100.0b1

Actual results:

All accounts (pop3 at googlemail.com) failed authorization.
Discovered settings "Standard Password" for every account.

Expected results:

Oauth2 should have been preserved in copied profile.

Don't know how it happened. Instead of copying profile folder manually, can you create a new empty profile, and use Tools > Import to import your backup?

Not proven yet, but believe I copied an old profile (pre Auth2) while moving data from old PC to new PC. Will advise later today after I research.

Checked old machine and the profile path in server settings and everything looks correct.
Profile.ini (old machine) shows several profiles. Profile 0 shows Name=defauilt IsRelative=1 Path is correct Default=1 I am running beta but (in .ini) there are 2 beta profiles default-beta-1 and default-bets-2 the profiles are different, the"Default" flag is not shown, and the Locked flag is not shown.
I tried re-copying the whole profiles folder to the new machine with the profiles.ini and got the same error as before - all the security settings were wrong.
Some .ini pointer is wrong or not getting copied correctly, but I can't figure out honecw to fix it. I've lost a few emails, but might be able to get the most critical resent
I will try to use Tools > import
