User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0
Steps to reproduce:
One account no longer allows POP, so timeout gets tedious.
Disabled Check and Download server settings, but manual Get Messages still queries the non-POP server. All my mail is POP.
Actual results:
Server times out, resulting in redundant error message.
Expected results:
Nothing at all.
This requires a check-box under the Server settings for "ignore in global Get messages"

Sounds like network/antivirus/firewall problems.

Not at all - simple logic. That check is not excluded in settings. How can n/a/f problems ALLOW something that is excluded by a setting in TB? - There is no such setting, it seems.
All I am suggesting is that it is an omission, including a server in the 'Get Messages' when one does not want or need to check is not fatal, it is true, just an annoyance because it is pointless.
It might be an unusual situation but it does exist.
