With bug 1767037 it should be possible to register event metrics at runtime with and without extras. This bug is about ensuring the Glean SDK is at a version that has bug 1767037 in it, then using it to support the codegen of the factory and warehouse for registration, plumbing through the test parameters, and finally using the test methods to ensure it's covered both in parent and content processes.
