User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0
Steps to reproduce:
I updated from Firefox version 99.0.1 to 100.0, restarted the browser, and opened two tabs. No other steps were performed.
Actual results:
Using the default system theme, the text on the inactive tabs became black, rendering them unreadable. The active tab remained unchanged, and therefore is still fine. The image provided shows what version 100.0 looks like (top) and 99.0.1 looks like (bottom).
Expected results:
There should have been no difference for the tabs between version 99.0.1 & previous and version 100.0 and kept the inactive tab's text visible when on a dark system color.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Theme' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I didn't manage to reproduce your issue on the latest versions Nightly 102.0a1 and Firefox 100.0.2 on Windows 10 x64 where the System theme was enabled.
What system theme do you have enabled on your computer? Could you please retest this using Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and a new profile and let us know the result?
I have updated to version 100.0.2, made a fresh Firefox profile, and launched it in Troubleshoot Mode and the result is still the same - the text is still black on a black background. I'm using Windows 8.1 x64 with a slightly modified system theme, with the window color set to black. Changing to any other color options shows that the text remains the same no matter the choice.
