User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/100.0

Steps to reproduce:

Try fix this with css

Actual results:

Opacity of last letters in url dropdown list

Expected results:

All letters must be without opacity

Summary: Opacity of last letters in url dropdown list → Opacity of last letters in firefox search url dropdown list

to reproduce type "get video " in search url bar

Component: Untriaged → Graphics: Text
OS: Unspecified → Windows 10
Product: Firefox → Core
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64

I'm not able to reproduce this. This is happening for you when you type text into the url bar and the suggestion box text is partially transparent? Would you please provide a screenshot that includes the window and the url bar itself?

Also please try to reproduce your issue with a clean profile. You can create one from "about:profiles". That will ensure that the issue is not related to extensions or altered preferences.

Thank you. Would you please run a MozRegression to identify when this problem started for you? And also please attach the text from the "Graphics" section of your "about:support".

Sorry ? I can not run MozRegression

Looks like the long-text eliding feature is activating unexpectedly. Cyrillic words can be fairly long... It's certainly unsatisfying to see a line faded out when the longer lines with the Google content addition are not faded, as in 2.png. This doesn't appear to be a graphics issue and is likely something that should be handled better by the awesomebar.

I couldn't manage to reproduce the issue on my end.
Could you please try if the issue occurs in safe mode. Here is a link that can help you do that:

I clicked on link to safe mod and Page Not Found. Try to use ukraine language as default in browser and in search bar

Flags: needinfo?(mataleo1212)

I couldn't reproduce the issue with Firefox with Ukrainian language.
What do mean exactly that you clicked on link to safemode and Page Not Found?

Could you please test it using a new profile, you can find the steps to do that below:
 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Thanks.

This is a longstanding bug in the urlbar but I can't find an open bug for it. IIRC sometimes over/underflow events aren't fired when they should be, or there's a case we're not handling, or something like that. The overflow gradient inside the UrlbarView is removed/added based on those events. See also bug 1759857.
