Good morning-
There are the following SUMO (support.mozilla.org) related GitHub teams in the Mozilla Organization:
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo-bots
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo-hackers
We'd like to update these teams to reflect current reality.
Can we please add Tasos (https://people.mozilla.org/p/akatsoulas) as maintainer the following teams:
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo (tagging pmac for approval as a current member);
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo-bots (tagging groovecoder for approval as a current member);
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/webdev-sumo (tagging pmac for approval as a current member).
Can we please remove the following team, as nobody still at mozilla currently is a member and uses it:

Be happy to - just need a thumbs up from your NI's (thank you) and we can get that moving. Do you just want ONE maintainer? thinking we'd like not to be back to the no maintainer status again.

Tasos unfortunately is a team of 1 atm, but at least he can add his new teammates as they get hired onto the team and give them maintainer status then.
Otherwise, myself or someone from Web SRE might be a decent backup for now, as we're both working on SUMO related efforts atm.

Sounds good to me too! The coming week another engineer will be starting (re-hire and familiar with all processes) and another one will be joining in the next couple of months. Having said that, we should list both Christina and Sven as maintainers in those teams for redundancy.

I'm just waiting for groovecoder's thumbs up - and we can get this done.
Noting that I'm gonna stick to the original plan of "add and make Tasos a maintainer" - once that's done, Tasos can elevate or add other maintainers. (presumably without going through the ham-fisted approval process I'm sticking to here.)

Tasos, I think you should make Rogério and me maintainers, not Christina and me. Christina is not on Web SRE anymore.

Let's also add Rogerio there (rvaralda@mozilla.com - currently on PTO). Christina and her team will handle all the data pipelines and the DAGs going forward. These teams will help us manage the codebase for those DAGs

Poked :groovecoder in slack - I'd like to close this all out together.

Sounds good to me. You can also remove me from sumo-bots team - I haven't touched it since I worked on MDN more than 6 years ago. :)

Alright.
https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo-hackers - has been removed
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/sumo-bots
- https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/webdev-sumo
All now have akatsoulas and smarnach as a member and maintainer. (per comment 0 and comment 4) and I didn't add Christina.
Per comment 7, added rvaralda to those teams (though it was unclear if you meant as maintainer.). Again, Tasos and Sven have access to make changes to those teams now, so can modify things as desired.
And finally, per :groovecoder, removed him from sumo-bots.
I think that clears this up - poke if I've misinterpreted or missed things.
