Steps to reproduce:
Currently it can be inferred that a given Intermediate CA is operated by a party other than the CA Owner of the Root CA using Audit and Policy document information in the Intermediate CA record. However, this is not always an indicator that the CA operator is different, and it can only be inferred -- not determined.
As an example, https://ccadb.lightning.force.com/lightning/r/Account/001o000000rE2gvAAC/view is operated by a different CA Owner than the Parent Root CA, and this is reinforced by the Audit and Policy documentation, but without looking closely at that information it would be easy to conclude/assume that the CA Operator is the same as the listed CA Owner.
Would it be viable to add a new field, perhaps in the "CA Owner/Certificate Information" section, which lists the CA Operator and links to a CA Owner record in CCADB?

+1 to this, Clint!
A few questions (top of mind):
- In terms of CA operator, are you envisioning collecting and presenting the same set of details we see for the Owner?
- Do you think these terms (owner vs operator) are well-defined and well-understood, or should we include an info alert hover-over to help align expectations?
If I'm misunderstanding your vision, please let me know!

Closing this bug as a duplicate of new Bug #1779079, just because that bug has a more concrete description of a potential solution to this.
