It's had its default for for nearly 15 years and while it's documented on the web I don't see anything really indicating people change it in practice...

The pref is dead: any code that used it was removed in FF68 in Bug #1530348, see https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/46b2369b332c
