Type in Post a reply and click on 'Browse'.
Choose image and click to upload.
When uploading, I notice the vertical scroll bar move - I scroll to bottom and see uploading image data - see image.
If image is uploaded and I click to add another image and it freezes - scroll to bottom and it says '502 Bad Gateway' - see image.
The only way to get out this freeze is to click on the 'Reload current page' icon.
This wipes out all the text which was lengthy and contained specific set of steps to follow as instructions. It also rearranged the previously uploded images into the wrong order.
Uploading images has always been a hit and miss affair, but I've never noticed the white area at the bottom of window below the Mozilla information. - see image.
Failed upload - previous text at bottom has gone and now says Bad Gateway
to kill freeze clicked on 'Reload current page' icon
All text removed. Image order has been changed, The order of images is important when text content is set of intructions.
After deleting one image and typing everything again, I added the second but could not get third image uploaded.
It sometimes fails on uploading the first image, so number of images is not necessarilly the problem.
This problem has been around for a long time, but it is the first time I've noticed the weird white area below the black Mozilla info at bottom of window. Hence supplying information.
Error console seems to be flooding with repeat error - see image -
Not sure if related, but I thought I'd mention it.
I had also just updated to version 101.0

It might be more likely that somebody figures out where this should go in Firefox:: Untriaged.
It kind of sounds like something might be wrong with the uploading on the support forum, so you might want to file a bug against the website in bugzilla and "see also" this bug. Of course, Firefox shouldn't freeze, so that could be a Firefox bug. Maybe networking related? Maybe it is possible that the website itself is causing a hang. I don't know.
Just to clarify - Firefox itself does not freeze, the uploading image is stuck in uploading state and never uploads, so it's a freeze on trying to upload and post comment in the Thunderbird Support Forum.
I'll move this to support.
