Steps to reproduce:

I noticed that the filters window high were becoming smaller and smaller

Steps to reproduce :

1. Delete your profile folder content
2. Configure a new profile with TB wizard
3. Open menu Tools > Filters
4. Click New, then Cancel or Hit Key Escape
5. Repeat that last step
6. Restart TB and repeat steps 3, 4, 5 & 6 as soon as the high do not reduce anymore

Actual results:

New filter window size reducing by the bottom each time opened, until

• macOS 10.13.6 : 9 rounds (in my case ?)
• macOS 11.6.7 : less rounds, not on the same screen
  Then after restarting TB, the window high start again to reduce, from the last already reduced high, until
• macOS 10.13.6 : I can see only the radio buttons (AND, OR, XOR) criteria only at the bottom
• macOS 11.6.7 : a bit more than the first criteria line, not on the same screen

Expected results:

The window size should stay the same, and always show the Cancel & OK buttons at the bottom (at least while scrolling).

I cannot set the platform (Desktop + macOS) can you do it please ? (hope it is okay to needinfo you for that ?)
Can you reproduce that bug ?

I've seen it on Mac but also only when the dialog has it's standard size. After expanding it it stays with the same height.

Tested on Windows and I can't reproduce it.

I cannot reproduce this with macOS 12.4 and Thunderbird 108.0b2

Running macOS 10.14.6 I don't see this issue in TB 102.7.1

I confirm that, running macOS 10.13.6 I don't see anymore this issue in TB 102.7.1.
I've seen it on Daily days ago, but not a new profile and not sure with which STR (it was while using Daily daily...)

Not sure what to do with this bug ? Give it a bit more time to find the new STR or close it.

For your own bug reports, next to Save Changes you can change the bug status to WORKSFORME
