Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0
Steps to reproduce:
Installed Thunderbird via snap and then run it in Wayland mode by typing "MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 thunderbird" in the terminal.
Actual results:
The application opens, but I believe it''s not running in Wayland. I'm seeing the following errors in the terminal:
Gtk-Message: 23:07:57.809: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 23:07:57.809: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 23:07:57.809: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 23:07:57.809: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"
[GFX1-]: glxtest: libpci missing
[GFX1-]: glxtest: Could not connect to wayland socket
[GFX1-]: No GPUs detected via PCI
Expected results:
To see no errors in the terminal.
Note that if I download Thunderbird NOT via snap (meaning simply the thunderbird-102.0.tar.bz2 file instead), and then run it via the command line in the same way, there are indeed no errors.

The thunderbird team doesn't maintain the snap package, so not much we can do here.
