1777860 - Subfolders with unread messages, after marking them all read and restarting TB, show up as unread again (bold, number of unread msgs)

Steps to reproduce:

When receiving mails, the unread mails in the subfolder are displayed correctly

Actual results:

After the mails have been read, the marking (bold and number) disappears, but after each restart it reappears. Deleting it again does not help either, it always reappears.

Expected results:

No further display of sent or deleted mails

Does this also happen in troubleshoot mode?
Do you have any add-ons?
Are you using multiple folder modes at once? (Unified, favorite, etc).

Potentially a duplicate of bug 1734192, but I'm not sure as I can't reproduce it.

4. How do the unread messages reach the subfolder? Are you using Thunderbird Filter rules?
5. Affected accounts: POP or IMAP?

Hi,

1: sorry, I´m not an experienced user = not using "troubleshoot mode"
2: Only one, DKIM Verifier
3: no
4: Yes, via Filter rules
5: POP

In all older versions it worked without any problems = incoming mails was sorted by filter rule to a folder. Folder shows x unread mails. After reading or delting the message the unread mail indicator was gone. But now I read or delete the message and after I restart Thunderbird, the folder shows an unread mail, although there istn´t anyone, because I read or deleted it. When I then click on the marked folder the marking (bold and number) disappears, but after a restart it shows again an unread message. Again and again.
