User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0

Actual results:

I am running the Thunderbird 102.0 (32 bit) on Windows 7 Pro.
After upgrade the client notifies me on start of new (unread) items in "Trash" folder (sometimes in the "Draft" folder.).
Despite the fact that the folder is empty.
I keep two instances of Thunderbird for two email accounts. This happens in both.

Summary: Looks for me like a bug: invalid "New mail" undication → getting false new message notifications for Trash and sometimes Drafts

I have similar bug: After update from 91.10.0 to 102.0.3. I'm getting notificaton about new mails (local folder turns blue, getting sound of new mail and tray badge) even they are already in my bin (marked as read and moved there by filter rules - spamlist). Waiting for fix, because everything worked fine before.

I'm not JR, but I still have this issue (version: 102.2.1), I reported it on reddit and somebody has it too: https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbird/comments/x1sy07/getting_false_new_message_notifications_for_spam/

JR are you still seeing this issue?

Well...
I've seen this only in a couple of days after the update.
Today everything looks normal.
