Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/91.11.0

Steps to reproduce:

Nothing.

Actual results:

After a few days or weeks, the icon in the task bar (Windows 10) becomes white (no drawing anymore) and after a few more days it disappears from the task bar !

Expected results:

The icon should have stayed there !!

Thanks Patrick, yeah, we've seen this occasionally, maybe dupe of FF bug 1495295 - although TB bug 1675918 is fixed.

My French Thunderbird version is 91.11.0 (32 bits).

Would the bug be fixed in a next version ?

Thanks.

Best regards.

Patrick.

The icon disappearing "every few days" seems to be related to when Thunderbird receives an update.

+1 fitzgeraldkl every time Thunderbird is updated for the past 1 year or so the taskbar pin shortcut stops working (you lose the shortcut and have a white inactive icon in its place). each time you need to search windows to find the new shortcut icon and repin it...

Thunderbird version 102.3.1 (32 bits).

Patrick (or anyone), is this still a problem?
Looks like this is FF bug FF bug 1495295 territory and we can't do much about that :-/
