Although I have defined a local file as home page, mozilla.org is opened when pressing the home button in the toolbar. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021103 Phoenix/0.4
Tonga, did you make sure to create a new profile before you started Phoenix 0.4 for the first time? You also need to install Phoenix into a fresh directory (not overwriting a previous installation). If I define file:///home/andre/ as my home page and click on the home button I correctly end up there. Works for me with a build from today on Linux.
Since I see from another bug you have filed that you have not taken the steps outlined in the release notes I will mark this as invalid too, since it is most definately because of that.

I'm seeing this too, and yes, I'm using a new profile, and did not install over a previous build. 20021103 on WinXP

I have the same problem when pressing the Home button here. Windows XP, latest build (03/11).
André, 0.4 was the first release I installed, so it was clean. Two minutes ago I deleted the Phoenix folder and re-installed, but the problem is still the same. However, the preferences and bookmarks are still there, but I guess that's not relevant for the described problem...
Strange: I have two Phoenix windows open. In one it takes me to mozilla.org, in the other one (second) it works.

I actually didn't open a second window via File, New Window but started a second instance of Phoenix (started Phoenix again). In the second instance and any further it works fine. I can also confirm what Chris wrote: Start page is ok, Home opens mozilla.org. See also bug 178184. Chris, can you check whether you have this problem, too.
I can also confirm this with the latest build (11/03/2002) running under W2K SP3. Can anybody using Linux confirm this?
Dupe Bug 176549 ? This bug happens a lot, usually if someone forgets to start with a clean profile. Now, however, it does seem to be ignoring the preference regardless of a new profile.

Worked in 10/02 nightly, broken in 10/03. Anyone know if this is broken in Mozilla?
Works now in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021107 Phoenix/0.4 If someone can point this to a recent fix, please mark this fixed.
