Steps to reproduce:
- Add customer header by setting mail.compose.other.header .
- Open email composition window. Set value to the customer header.
- Save the email.
- Reopen the email and send it.
- Check the email at recipient. There is no custom header set.
Actual results:
The custom header I set before I saved the email is not set on the email.
Expected results:
The custom header should be set.

mail.compose.other.header doesn't show up for me in 104.0b3 when I search for it in Config Editor. I even followed https://www.lifewire.com/arbitrary-custom-heading-email-thunderbird-1173089

mail.compose.other.header shows for me on Mac 104.0b3. It shows the edit button, but no value. So it is current at default setting.

Yes, this has been reproducible for 20 years (and just re-confirmed for 105.0a1 (2022-08-10) (64-bit), and TB 91.12.0 (32-bit), Win10) - Bug 195716.
- After saving, the custom header is still present (View > headers > All, or Ctrl+U for source).
- Custom header gets silently discarded when draft is re-opened for editing.
