Steps to reproduce:

Use a homeserver which name starts with a p and react to a message in some other client.

Actual results:

Parts of Matrix usernames are replaced with emoji.
Example: For @kaenganxt:piratenpartei.de, the ":p" part gets replaced.
As many emoticons start with a colon, I assume that many home server names are potentially affected.
This includes reactions to other messages (as can be seen at the bottom of the attached screenshot) and, most importantly, any system messages (join/leave or a reaction like in the Screenshot).

Expected results:

Emoticons should not be matched inside Matrix usernames, especially not in system messages.
