User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0
Steps to reproduce:
Create new message and begin to add recips. Cursor bounce (?) creates one or more additional new (empty) message forms. Delete the empty form - requires confirmation.
Previously, deleting an empty message did not require confirmation.
Actual results:
Deleting empty message requires confirmation.
Expected results:
Empty message (no recips, no subject, no body) should not require confirmation.

It doesn't matter if the message is empty or not.
Once you added recipients OR wrote something (which you then perhaps erased) confirmation will be requested before closing.
It was like this forever (barring bugs).
The empty message window had never been written to. It appeared apparently due to a key bounce or cursor bounce on new message. This is a new problem with the most recent betas. It was not like this with 104.

Can't reproduce. Maybe an add-on causing it? Try Help | Troubleshoot mode
Troubleshoot mode shows no difference (i.e. I am still required to confirm the delete). However, I do note that my reply-to address is automatically populated, so technically there is a change to the window. If that's the problem, I would have to opt to turn off populating the reply-to address in order to avoid having to confirm the delete.
Simplified steps to reproduce. Click on create new mail. Delete. Confirm delete.
