Sponsored tiles are dismissible via the tile context menu like regular tiles, Pocket tiles should be the case as well.

NB: when one dismisses a regular sponsored tile, they will never see any sponsored tiles from that same advertiser in the future. I.e. the dismissal is performed at the advertiser level. For this MVP, I think we don’t necessarily need to implement that unless it turns out to be a low lift.

I have verified this issue on the latest Nightly 108.0a1 (Build ID: 20221109164728) on Windows 10 x64, macOS 12.4 and Linux Mint 20 x64.

  • The Sponsored tiles via Pocket are no longer displayed after they are dismissed.
