- Drag the splitter to resize the search bar.
Actual Results:
When dragging the splitter, the amount of the drag is less than the movement of the mouse.

Bug 1795199 does not seem to fix this problem.

I can still reproduce this issue in the latest Nightly108.0a1(build id:20221018094831, changeset:826073b561e026d8fbc6a8354081db59727d9f33).

Ah, that's pretty minor, and unfortunately kind of expected (to avoid the jumping you were seeing, and also to make the searchbar on new windows have the right size).
We can't quite just follow the mouse precisely, because the searchbar is flexible and adapts to the available space (it shrinks / grows when the window size changes). The previous behavior made the searchbar have different size when in a new window, which was a bit weird as well.
I think this is WONTFIX unless you are also seeing weird jumps or so.
