Steps to reproduce:
Updated to the latest version of nightly 108.0a1 (2022-10-18)
Actual results:
The address bar no longer accepts search results, only URLS, and the home page is functionally broken, not showing anything except a text box that cannot be typed in. It also does not show suggestions for search anymore.
Expected results:
The search functionality and the home page should not be broken.

Searchbar is bug 1796029. Home page is bug 1796034, which might be a duplicate of the former.
