User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 When I move my browser window over to the second monitor the mouse behaves incorrectly. When I hover over a link, the location that the link points to should stay in the status bar. It shows in the status bar momentarily if you move the mouse, then it disappears. The location should stay in the status bar until the mouse is moved off of the link. If I right click in the browser on the second monitor I get a context menu. If i move the mouse over one of the context menu items it highlights momentarily if I move the mouse and then becomes unhighlighted. The same thing happens on the top menu (file, edit, view, etc.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open browser and move it to the second monitor 2. hover over a link / right click and hover over a selection in the context menu. Actual Results: location that the link pointed to showed in the status bar momentarily and then disappeared. Menu item became hightlighted and then unhightlighted. Expected Results: The location the link pointed to should have stayed in the status bar until I moved the mouse off of the link. The menu item should have stayed hightlighted until I moved the mouse off of the menu item. I have a MSI Geforce4 Ti 4600 128 meg video card. This card allows for two monitors to be connected. I don't know if this is an issue with this hardware or with a dual monitor setup in general. I don't have another dual monitor setup with different hardware to test this on.

Target Milestone: --- → M1
link location showing as a mere "flicker" in statusbar: dup of bug 159277
and items in context menu "un-highlighting" is also reported in bug 173068. So these observations are both dups. There are older instances of these bug-reports too.. Resolving as dup of bug 159277 for now *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 159277 ***
