User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0
Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird upgraded to 102.4.
I clicked on different different mailboxes of an account on dovecot imap server with self signed certificate.
Actual results:
Nothing happened. Only showing "connecting to..." until timeout on status bar.
After chasing the problem for half a day I found a comment in bugzilla 167141 instructing to press "Get Messages". This immediately popped up the "Confirm security exception dialogue". After pressing Accept, all was normal again. Although simple it was quite unintuitive to figure out.
Expected results:
Show the Confirm security exception dialogue.
Also in Settings there could be an indication that server cert is not accepted and allow to confirm security exception there.
