Steps to reproduce:

Installed on Mac - Version 102.4.1 (64-bit)

Since the update yesterday. Messages without any content do not have the button on the right to Delete etc

Sounds like something else is wrong. Try "Repair folder" in the folder properties.

• Gary, are you seeing this for all messages without anything in the message body?
• Does this problem occur with ≡ > Help > Troubleshoot Mode…?
• Anything in error console when a message gets displayed without buttons? Tools > Developer Tools > Error console
• pls try Repair folder - does that help?
• Can you attach a testcase.eml? (select message > right-click > save as..., replace private data before attaching here via Attach New File button above comment 0)

I have run a repair folder and I have sent some test messages to myself from Hotmail without any content and they worked fine and didn't have the issue.

The original screenshot was a PHP generated email from one of our protection scripts. I am waiting for this to trigger again and I will follow up with the above suggestions and update you.

Confirmed. I guess https://searchfox.org/comm-central/rev/24e0dbbb32cc3e5f569a68aa94a26b8bfed44f69/mail/base/content/mailWindowOverlay.js#1639 is a good place to start looking.

Still confirming for TB 102.10.0 (64-bit), Win10, but works on Daily 114.0a1 (2023-04-17) (64-bit), Win10.
Caused by empty From: header in testcase attachment 9302505 [details] (with From: foo, testcase displays correctly on 102). Which makes this a duplicate of bug 1793918, which we should probably uplift.
