User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:108.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/108.0
Steps to reproduce:
Opened new tab, loaded affected sites. No favicon shows up in Firefox tab bar. This used to work fine. Must be a regression in Nightly. Issue showed up a few days ago... in the last week or so. Works fine in Chrome, probably not a server issue.
Noticing the issue on:
accounts.google.com
mail.google.com
docs.google.com
However, favicon works FINE on:
google.com
drive.google.com
analytics.google.com
Clearing cache does not help. Looking at Page Inspector, I can see that the browser is successfully requesting and getting the favicon file, it's just not displaying it.
I have not noticed the issue on any sites beyond what is listed above.
Actual results:
No favicon in tab bar.
Expected results:
Favicon in tab bar.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'DevTools::Inspector' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

We managed to reproduce the issue on our side as well in Build 108.0a1 (2022-10-29), however this issue no longer occurs on my side in our latest build 108.0a1 (2022-10-31), @andrew does this issue still occur on your end in our latest build? If not we can close this issue with Works For Me and reopen later on if it starts to reoccur.
Confirmed resolved in 108.0a1 (2022-10-31). I will close the bug.
