This page has an image map. Clicking on "Spanish banks" opens a popup, which
crashes the browser after you click the "x" on the window border.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "Spanish Banks"
2. In the popup click once on the image that is scrolling around.
3. Now click and drag the mouse left and right a little on the image.
4. Release the mouse button and click on the "x" on the popup frame.
Actual Results:
Mozilla crashes, every time, 3 times that I tried.
Expected Results:
The popup should just close.

Reporter:
Do you use OS X 10.1 or 10.2 ?
If you use 10.2 you must update because Apple changed the Java Api with 10.2 and
you will get a crash on every page with Java

This is using OS X 10.1.5.
mozilla 1.1 had a Mac java crasher all on it's own - bug 154699

I just tried 1.2beta and it still crashes.
Crashed using Chimera/2002111204 on 10.1.5 just clicking the regular close box
on that pop-up window. I think this is bug 154998 (and bug 155340).

Using the CFM OS X trunk (2002-12-17-08) and OS X Mach-O (2002-12-16-08) builds,
I can't reproduce the crash under 10.2.2. Reporter, please try with the latest
build and mention what Mac OS X you are using.

Site is in the process of moving to a new server; however, I did manage to get a crash on Camino trunk build 2006102501 (v1.2+) under Mac OS 10.3.9. Crashlog is attached.

I can't reproduce your crash. Are you able to reproduce it, or did it
just happen once? I tested with the latest Camino trunk nightly
(2006-10-27-01-trunk).
I did, though, see an odd problem that's probably caused by a bug (or
bugs) in Camino on the trunk -- the VR "movies" jumped around crazily
whenever I tried to scroll them. This doesn't happen with the latest
Camino release (1.0.3), or with a recent Minefield
(2006-10-22-05-trunk).
The "jumping around" problem is unrelated to the original report.
If/when I have time I'll open a new bug on it. But I'd certainly not
mind if someone beat me to it :-)

Haven't looked at this for a while. At the request of Wayne emailing me from a Lehigh email address, I rechecked this site.
WFM with a recent trunk version, 2007090618 (2.0a1pre), of Camino, running under Mac OS 10.4.10. I did not see Steven's issue with the VR movies that he mentioned in Comment #13, either.
I'd say it's safe to close this one, unless someone using Panther wants to chime in.
