STR:

1. Set media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.improved-video-controls.enabled = true.
2. Open a white video in Picture-in-Picture (eg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3pF2jkQ4vc).
3. Skip to near the end of the video.

The left side of the seek bar is white and blends into the background, making it invisible. There is no improvement to contrast on mouse hover.

Our proposed designs include a background gradient for the PiP controls (screenshot taken from our drive containing all our icons. Also see this comment). This should help improve contrast.

Reproduced the issue with Firefox 109.0a1 (2022-11-27) on Windows 10x64. After following the STR from comment 0 the left side of the seek bar is no longer visible.
The issue is verified fixed with Firefox 109.0b4 on Windows 10x64, macOS 10.15 and Ubuntu 20.04. The seek bar is visible after following the steps from comment 0.
