Details
(Whiteboard: [snnot3p])
Steps to reproduce:
- Set many identities for an email account
- Open the Identities manager window and try to reorder them (drag & drop, button)
- Write a new email with the email account using an identity
- Switch to an other 'From address' identity to the one you want that is
Actual results:
- Unable to reorder identities in Identities manager window (drag & drop, button).
Especially if you set two different identities but related to something in your needs, you can't sort/ reorder them to make them next to each other. - Unable to easily switch from theses two identities while writing an email
- TB list identities in creation order
Expected results:
- Drag & drop, and/or a move top/bottom button should be implemented, so while writing email it's easier to find the right identity you need
- By default, TB should sort them alphabetically, especially while you add an identity, like with folders in folders pane

Very interested in this too.
As soon as more than a handful of identities are set for a given account, it becomes very tedious to have them in a fixed order -- especially when some are more used than others and cannot be placed near the top of the list.
Also seems like a rather low hanging fruit.
Thanks for this!
PS: still applicable in v117 and now 118.
