Adjustments in bug 1799934 add new styling for the current date in the minimonth calendar grid. The plan is to improve this styling with the following:

--color-ink-40 at 20% opacity and no border for the current date and the blue for the selected date.

These changes will make the current date more readible.

These changes need to be tested in light mode, dark mode, high contrast, and variations of high contrast (accessibility setting on/off, light mode/dark mode/inherit theme enabled).

The updates in bug 1799934 add enough contrast for the current date when it is selected. That styling would remain the same.

When the current date is not selected, we will be updating the styling as described above in comment #0.
