User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021116 Chimera/0.6+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021116 Chimera/0.6+ In Chimera 0.6 (Build ID: 2002111604) after visiting the BBC news website (news.bbc.co.uk) the lefthand section fo the bookmarks toolbar is missing. Hiding and reshowing this restores it (after first loading another webpage). This behvoiur was not seen with previous builds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Chimera. 2. Visit news.bbc.co.uk wait until the page is loaded (incl the java applet) 3. Actual Results: Two left hand entries in the bookmars toolbar are now missing. Expected Results: Displayed the bookmarks toolbar.
Confirmed in Chimera 2002111604. Seems to be caused by a Java applet inside an iframe. If the tab bar is displayed, the bug does not appear, BTW.

Yes, this is occurring when the applet is being intialized on the page. I 'm working a reduced test case of site. Based on the site's code, the Applet is loaded into a iframe element.

This test case includes a Applet element and a Link element in the HEAD section. The LINK element has a HREF that is empty so no CSS file is referenced. If the LINK element was removed, then the problem doesn't occur. But for reproducability, I have include the LINK element.
