Environment:
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 109.0a1 (2022-11-26) (64-bit)

Preconditions:
PRIVATE Browsing mode enabled
Clean profile
VPN actively pointing towards the US

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.hctra.org/Home
  2. Observe the result.

Expected Behavior:
The page loads.

Actual Behavior:
The page does not load.

Notes:

  • Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  • Not reproducible in NORMAL BROWSING mode.
  • Screenshot is attached.
Severity: -- → S3

I see that this site uses cache and localstorage in private browsing mode. Even though localstorage is supported in private browsing mode; cache is not yet supported and I think this bug should rather block https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1714354 which is specifically to support cache in private browsing mode.

I see that the page is able to load correctly after the support for cacheAPI and IDB landed for private windows.
