RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1615801

People

(Reporter: egil, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:108.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/108.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable Xnote column in TB in some subfolder.
  2. (optional) Go to view menu and apply columns to all folders i Local folders.
  3. Restart TB.

Actual results:

The column is gone or in different place. This happens sometimes, but often.

Seems like columns are initialized before Xnote is loaded or some other race condition. I was hoping the problem would go away, but unfortunately I still have to restore the column every now and then (twice today).

If that is important I start my TB with typing in the master password and choosing if I want to run in offline or online mode.

Expected results:

It was working, I believe, before TB 100 or so. TB should remember where the extension column was and restore its location after enabling the extension.

Severity: -- → S4
Component: Untriaged → Add-Ons: General

The message tree UI is being rewritten and we will provide a proper API for add-ons soon.
