I don't think this is an invalid feature :(

Thank you for reopening the ticket! I was surprised that this suggestion was closed as invalid. Especially since this was done without any explanation. I was unable to comment on the issue, which has since been closed, due to a lack of user rights.

Hey Jacky and Denis, this is my bad. I was going through all 200+ bugs in the Tabs component on Bugzilla on Friday, and I didn't spend enough time auditing this one and failed to even leave a comment why it was closed + marked invalid.

This enhancement is valid, and I've added it to the meta for tracking ideas for future enhancements to the Tabs Tray.
