User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/109.0
Steps to reproduce:
Something has recently changed which is sometimes preventing urls from being copied from the location bar (where the url for the page is displayed/entered). It is an intermittent issue. Every time I have noticed the copy problem, I am on a non-secure (http vs https) url. For that case, I am usually able to work-around by using right-click and copy instead of the highly preferred Ctrl-C. It usually takes me a minute or two to realize why the copy did not work.
A second recent issue is that the url fragment (the part after the #) did not get copied when using Ctrl-C.
I am running Ubuntu 22.04 with the latest Firefox snap (109.0.1).
Actual results:
Actual: Ctrl-C does not always work on location bar
Expected results:
Expectation: Ctrl-C always works on location bar

I could not reproduce on a Ubuntu 22.04 VM machine using 110.0 Firefox snap build. Ctrl+C or Copy works ok for me.
Can you please try and reproduce with a new and empty profile? (see link for details https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile).
Also can you please mention that is the exact site/url that is not being copied? Thank you for your report.
The next time this happens I will capture the information. I don't have any examples right now.

Does it work if you paste inside Firefox, instead of pasting to another app?
Are you on Wayland?
