Today Pane keeps scrolling away from today - should make today sticker

Steps to reproduce:
Display today view... indeed I keep it displayed almost all the time.
Actual results:
View keeps scrolling away from the top. I'll occasionally need to scroll it back up to the top, but in invariably scrolls around on it's own again.
Expected results:
Expect that today view will stay focus on "today" UNLESS I manually scroll away, and it would be perfectly reasonable that a manual or periodic refresh would cause it to return to today. It's almost doing entirely the oppositive for a while now.

This is a bit of an annoyance indeed. Heard about complaints about this through other channels yesterday.

Oh that’s weird, this is a duplicate of a closed bug? I’m confused.
Redding the notes from THST hug, no. No it’s not an accidental change of focus causing me to scroll the wrong pane. Because I definitely have to focus the scrolling to undo the erroneous scrolling. And I’m seeing several others confirm they have seen this very perceptible issue which was not happening before. I don’t know what changed to make this begin happening but it’s annoying and should stop.

Before the today pane redesign in 102, the list of events was simply shorter in general.

I would be OK with this or that being marked as a duplicate. It does seem to describe the same behavior I'm continuing to observe, even after completely reinstalling TBird and rebuilding my profile from scratch.

Have seen this some days back on 102, clicking on Today in Today Pane would stubbornly scroll Today out of sight!

I will say, strangely, I didn't notice this happen when I was running 115 beta or now in 116 beta. Which leads me to ask... are the people all seeing this behavior running either (a) lots of calendars or (b) TbSync? (or both)

and I can also confirm that clicking on the "today"-circle in the pane jumps away from today, to the same entry it jumped to when closing the popup.

This is still a problem with Thunderbird 115.
