User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021117 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021117 I've observed that in Mozilla 1.3's file picker (e.g. File/Open File) the order of the file name and file size field has changed. The file name used to be the left-most field but now there's the file size. This causes the file names to float freely in the middle of the file picker Window without some form of visual guide for the eyes to align with. As directories have no size there is a huge empty gap to the left of them. It takes me at least second to get my bearings in the new filepicker and navigating this way is very unpleasant and tiresome for me. This is IMHO a *serious* usability regression and it should be fixed asap (can someone tell me what I have to change in the source code to fix this myself). BTW, I'm not aware of having ever seen a file picker on any platform that had the filenames floating in the middle of a pane like this, so this is also an issue of following widely-used standards that people are used to. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select File/Open File Actual Results: Filepicker comes up with Size field as left-most field. Expected Results: Filepicker should come up with Name field as left-most field.
