Steps to reproduce:

Thunderbird is inserting multiple question marks into all of my emails. I type an email and send it. When I go to the "Sent" folder to view the email I just sent, there are multiple question marks inserted into all of my emails. Below is an email I just sent....this is a copy/paste right out of my "Sent" folder. When I typed this email, I did not type any question marks....every question mark in this email was inserted by Thunderbird somehow:

Thunderbird doesn't do that. Some other part (server, AV or something else) is causing it.
