Steps to reproduce:

• Open https://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html
• Press the screen capture
• list of X windows is shown in dropdown instead of system dialog
• on any window selection xdg dialog appears
• xdg dialog appears again after pressing share.

Actual results:

list of X windows is shown, on any window selection XGD portal window selection appears.

Expected results:

the portal should be shown only once when "system sharing" is selected as it was in 109 and after https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1685694 was fixed.

Unfortunately I dont have an Arch Linux Os or Fedora in order to test this issue but could this be a dupe of Bug 1648209 ?

Maxima, could you try this with a Nightly build? Is Firefox running under xwayland?

Firefox is running under Wayland, not xwayland, nothing to do with archlinux, tha same behaviour for flatpak versions, version 111 looks fine.

Maximka, thanks for taking the time to file the bug, and thanks for checking in 111. This sounds like a duplicate of bug 1817263, which was fixed in 111. I am going to close this as a duplicate. If you don't think this is related, feel free to reopen this bug.
