User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0
Steps to reproduce:
Right click in Folder panel to Open in New Tab
Actual results:
The New Tab Opens correctly but the Current you are on also changes to the New Tab value ie you end up with 2 Tabs the same
Expected results:
The Current Tab should remain as is - only the New Tab should hold the result from the Right click

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Menus' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello eric.lesbirel,
Could you clarify exactly where you are right-clicking? When you say folder panel, do you mean the history or bookmarks sidebar? A screenshot would be very helpful, or a description of what steps you follow to open that panel.
Thanks!

Screenshot 1 before opening another Tab, sitting on "Inbox Magic_Group"
Screenshot 2 Want to Open another Tab
Right clicked on Templates and it changes "Inbox Magic_Group" to "Templates"
which it did not prior to this version
Screenshot 3 Result 2 "Templates" Tabs

Moving to Thunderbird. If this is not the correct component, please feel free to change it to a more appropriate one.
