User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/113.0
Steps to reproduce:
Just having a normal amount of tabs open, having 2 YouTube tabs open as well, one in the background.
Actual results:
The memory leak goes until it makes my system unstable, making games and or other applications unstable and sometimes crashing all together. This memory leak does not show up in Task Manager either.
In my about:memory...
34,936.68 MB (100.0%) -- gfx
└──34,936.68 MB (100.0%) -- webrender/textures
├──34,333.77 MB (98.27%) ── render-texture-hosts
└─────602.91 MB (01.73%) ++ (9 tiny)
Expected results:
Memory leak should not have occurred.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics: WebRender' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

The attached memory report has this in the main process:
33,643.71 MB ── shmem-allocated
33,643.71 MB ── shmem-mapped
It also has this in the GPU process:
0.00 MB ── shmem-allocated
34,188.77 MB ── shmem-mapped
The user also has the "Dark Space" addon installed.
I'm going to dupe this over to bug 1828587. This bug has been fixed, so please update Firefox to the latest version and the issue should be fixed.
