I could imagine some users finding New Contact and New List useful in other spaces as well - new contacts might come in from anywhere anytime, and having a universal direct access to that might be useful. If triggered from another space, the buttons would then open the AB if not open yet, and show the usual contact/list creation dialogs for the default AB.

This needs to be backed out and relanded without the string migration.

The addressbook buttons in the unified toolbar are a new feature and need new translations. https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/l10n/overview.html#patch-l10n-review
