Steps to reproduce:
Deleted a message in the middle of a set of unread messages.
Actual results:
What I then see is the next message highlighted in the subject list, but the body displayed corresponds to the one after. I cant reproduce this reliably unfortunately, but it happens frequently to me since installing 112.0b1. The error does not go away - the wrong body (or no body at all) its displayed when highlighting messages. Restarting Thiderbird and working backwards up the lost of messages works, however (i.e. only ever deleting the last message in the inbox)
Expected results:
Message deleted, next message highlighted corresponding body displayed.

Thanks Pete for reporting this. Could you provide some more info?

- Does this involve quick filtering for unread or some such?
- Which exact version of TB?
≡ > Help > About Thunderbird
- Which OS version?
- Which account type (POP/IMAP)
- Which deletion settings for the account (Mark deleted etc.)?

No filtering that I recall. Though I do often filter on subject Ines and delete a lot together, so I can say it hadnt previously been filtered and deleted.
Exact Thunderbird is 112.0b3 (64-bit)
OS Version is 13.2.1 (22D68)
Account is IMAP
Deletion settings are (now) to move to a rash folder on IMAP. But they were originally 'Delete Immediate' and it didnt make any difference.
I originally repotted this on b1, having upgraded to b3, it seems better, but does still happen.

Still seeing this with 113 beta?

It seems not, from an initial play about, Indeed 113 is an awful lot better than the last few, which is great! I use this for work email, so will see how it behaves tomorrow during the day, But the bug of deleting a block of messages appeared to be fixed. Thanks!
