(Keywords: regression, Whiteboard: [Supernova3p])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0

Steps to reproduce:

open a link in separate thunderbird tab
try to login to a service using webauth via Yubikey

Actual results:

Yubikey is not recognised, 2FA via Yubikey is not possible

Expected results:

Yubikey is recognised, led on YK blinks, 2FA works

We don't support opening content in a tab. (Probably from an add-on?)

Summary: webauth → link opened in tab - Yubikey is not recognised, 2FA via Yubikey is not possible

Yes, this was with a help of either: M-Hub, New Tab Button, Open Tab and probably Google Calendar plugin (in a separate tab)

Up to v111 of Tb WebAuth with YubiKey worked.

Thunderbird has changed (due to Supernova), but not sure if it's Thunderbird or the add-ons which must make this work again.
