Steps to reproduce:
I was trying to use Thunderbird 112.0b3 Beta efficiently with its new UI / UX features.
Actual results:
I was unable to remove redundant UI / UX functionality which limited content visibility and my productivity.
If I choose to use the left-most vertical menubar, the other areas seem redundant and take up valuable screen real-estate.... especially on my laptop display.
If I hide the left-most vertical menubar, the resulting hamburger-like-menu in the new top menubar alleviates the need for the redundant tabs area (row of tabs).
Expected results:
The user should be provided with an option in settings to disable the tab area (row of tabs) and/or new top menubar. An option already exists to disable or hide the left-most vertical menubar.
After initial configuration, I find simplicity is more intuitive, so the redundant menubar functionality actually reduces my productivity.

In particular, being able to hide the unified bar would be very handy. There are instructions here on how to hack it, but a proper checkbox would be a much better solution for users.
